 Celebrity Watch Shaq Lends His
Big Heart
and Hands to Big Mama's
|

Everyone
at Big Mama's was proud when the following articles
appeared in Norm Clarke's "Vegas Confidential" column in the
Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The Shaq-Don't-Do-Diva Award
-- When the staff at Big Mama's Rib Shack was overwhelmed by
food orders, and a telephone wouldn't stop ringing, Los Angeles
Lakers center Shaquille O'Neal pitched in, grabbing the
phone and supplying directions to a customer.
Ribs Shaq
-- If you make your living selling hot food, there is no greater
joy than seeing 315-pound Shaquille O'Neal walk through the
door--unless you own an all-you-can-eat buffet.
Two cabs pulled up at Big Mama's Rib Shack on West Bonanza Road
on Friday, and in strolled Shaq, ready to refuel.
He and his eight-member entourage, including the two cabbies,
ordered platters of fried chicken, fried shrimp, ribs, chitlins, ham
hocks, yams, oxtails, hot links and collard greens.
Shaq washed down his mountainous portion with a six-pack of
Mountain Dew.
And when Big Mama's staff was too overwhelmed with the orders
to answer the phone, Shaq helped out. He grabbed the phone and gave
directions to a prospective customer.
Thanks for lending us a hand Shaq. Congratulations on all your championships!
